A native and off/on resident of Baltimore, Jermall takes pride in his city and the beautifully eclectic citizens in it. In high school, he studied Environmental Science. After that, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps which still often leads to an affirmative response of "10-4." Upon his return from military service, he became a certified Laboratory Associate through the Biotechnical Institute of MD before returning to college to pursue his degree in Psychology from the University of Baltimore.
Jermall joined the Miller & Zois team in 2016 and has hit the ground running ever since, with previous experience in this field propelling him. As the head of collecting department for the firm he is essential in ensuring that all documentation pertinent to claims are gathered and verified before submission to opposing counsel or adjusters through a demand, once clients have completed their treatment. His primary title of Medical Billing and Record Retrieval Specialist means that he corresponds with various medical facilities to gather medical bills and records, review them to makes sure they are claim specific and relatable to each individual client's case, as well as correspond with clients to keep them updated on where he is in this process. The collecting phase of any claim is often the most tedious and patience-testing process, which earned Jermall the nickname "Jay Wick" around the office due to his tenacious focus on cases. He is detail oriented in his pursuit of documentation, and a fervent believer in making sure things are done the right way before moving into the next phase.
When not in the office as acting "records and bills bloodhound", he is spending time with his daughter in his Essex residence, instilling in her the same beliefs that drive him daily. His off time passions include cooking/ part-time foodie (Chaps Pit Beef and Attmans are among his favorites), museums, Xbox gaming, Ravens football, and being a HUGE movie buff.
