     It is in part a sad commentary but it is true: if you want a voice on-line, links do matter. Our law firm's website is one of the most frequented personal injury lawyer sites on the Internet and that mostly has to do with content. But links to continue to play a roll in how search engines rate personal injury law firms and everyone else. The search engines do not care much about links from unrelated topics. But links from other personal injury sites and blogs do matter. Accordingly, we exchange links with other lawyer websites in an effort to continue to boost our web traffic.

This is all very silly, really, this whole idea of needing other personal injury lawyer links to increase the traffic of your website. And let's not get carried away - it is just one piece of a very large puzzle. But, when in Rome.

So if you want to add this piece to your legal website, we will, most likely, be glad to exchange links with you, add you to our Facebook and Twitter, and so forth. The only litmus test is that your website has to provide some information useful either to personal injury lawyers or personal injury victims. Require the same of us. If we both do this, we are actually a part of the "gaming the system" solution.

Content is Where This Game Is Really Won and Lost

Not that we are the experts but we think the key to web traffic for personal injury lawyers is about 98% providing good content people (either lawyers or injury victims) want to read. The final 2% is this junk. The time you spend on your personal injury website or blog should reflect that breakdown. Put up something that will be useful to someone. That is a better strategy than hiring a team of personal injury law firm search engine optimization experts (even the SEO experts will agree with this).
