Laura G. Zois
Ms. Zois received her bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee in 1991. She graduated from the University of Baltimore with honors in 1995. After graduation, Ms. Zois primarily defended insurance companies in auto accident cases, trying over 300 cases in District Court and Circuit Court. Her superior litigation skills earned the trust of insurance companies such as Allstate, Nationwide, State Farm, and The Hartford and commercial clients such as Rite Aid, Home Depot, and Chrysler. Ms. Zois has taken the experience she gained working with the insurance companies and now works for injured victims. Accordingly, her practice now focuses on representing people who have been injured in automobile and truck accidents in Maryland and around the country. She is well known among Maryland trial lawyers for achieving noteworthy verdicts. Most recently, she obtained an $8 million verdict in Price George's County on behalf of the family who lost their son/brother in an automobile accident. of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA). She also
serves as the chairperson of the MTLA Membership Service
Committee and also sits on the Legislative Committee and
the Technology Committee. Ms. Zois is regularly invited
to speak to Maryland personal injury attorneys on issues
related to the handling of auto accident, motorcycle accident,
and truck accident cases in Maryland. Her next speaking engagement is in May, 2007 in New Orleans on May 3-5, 2007 at the annual American Association of Justice (formerly American Trial Lawyers Association) Jazzfest seminar on auto torts. Ms. Zois was honored as a Super Lawyer by the Maryland Super Lawyers® Magazine in 2008. |
