The defendant, whom we deposed, was a nice, decent family man who made an awful mistake.<\/p>\n<p>While driving home, he lost his attention to where his vehicle was and crossed the center line, causing this <a href=\"\/car-accidents\/valuing-injuries-more-injuries\/five-things-you-need-to-know-about-fatal-accident-cases-in-maryland\/\">fatal and tragic<\/a> accident. In a deposition, the defendant claimed the decedent crossed the center line. But it was weird; it was more like he was <strong>trying to convince himself<\/strong> than to convince me.
