That is not necessarily true.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In fact, it is unlikely to be true.\u00a0 In Maryland, speeding alone does not automatically prevent an injured driver from recovering compensation. The key question is whether the speeding actually caused the accident.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">In most states, the law compares the fault of everyone involved in the crash. If a driver is partly responsible for the accident, their compensation is simply reduced by their percentage of fault.
