John B. Bratt


          Mr. Bratt is a native of Baltimore, Maryland.  He is a graduate of Calvert Hall College High School, the oldest Christian Brothers High School in the United States.  He received a BA in Anthropology/Political Science from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 1995.  St. Mary’s College is the State of Maryland’s only Public Honors College, and has been consistently ranked as one of the Top 100 liberal arts colleges in the country.

John Bratt          Mr. Bratt received his JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1998.  While in law school, he served as Associate Editor of The Law Forum.  Upon graduation, he was installed as a member of the School of Law’s prestigious Heiusler Honor Society, recognizing superior academic achievement.

          Mr. Bratt is admitted to practice law in all Maryland state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

          He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Baltimore City, and the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association.  In the past, he has lectured on insurance and litigation topics for Maryland Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA)and the Maryland Institute for the Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers. John has also assisted MTLA by writing amicus trial briefs on its behalf in Maryland car acccident and insurance coverage cases. He is also the author of the Baltimore Injury Lawyer Blog, a nationally respected personal injury lawyer blog discussing the issues germane to handling accident cases from filing a lawsuit through trial and appeal.
